| People's Bank of Commerce (OTCBB:PBCO) reported today that its earnings for the first quarter of 2012 were $227,000, compared to $97,000 during the first quarter of 2011. The bank reported earnings of $0.20 per share for the three months ending March 31, 2012, compared to $0.08 per share in 2011. People's Bank had a 16 percent increase in net interest income in the first quarter of 2012 when compared to the same period last year.
